A three-way catalytic converter (TWC) is the most important external purification device installed in the automobile exhaust system. It can convert harmful gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), and nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted from the automobile exhaust into harmless

Manufacturing process of honeycomb ceramic carrier:

1. Raw material preparation: Select suitable ceramic materials such as cordierite, mullite, alumina, etc., and grind them into fine powder.

2. Ingredient mixing: Mix ceramic raw material powder with additives (such as binders, lubricants, plasticizers, etc.) in a certain proportion to make ceramic slurry.

3. Extrusion molding: The ceramic slurry is extruded into a honeycomb shaped body through an extruder.

4. Drying: Dry the extruded billet to remove moisture.

5. Sintering: Place the dried green body into a high-temperature furnace for sintering, densifying it and forming a ceramic carrier.

6. Post treatment: Post treatment of the sintered ceramic carrier, such as cutting, polishing, cleaning, etc., to obtain the desired size and surface quality.

In the production process, it is necessary to strictly control the process parameters of each link, such as raw material ratio, slurry viscosity, extrusion pressure, drying temperature and time, sintering temperature and time, etc., to ensure the performance and quality of the ceramic carrier.
