Basic information of product description

Diesel particulate filter, also known as diesel particulate filter (DPF). The main component of diesel exhaust emissions is carbon particles. Diesel particulate filter is a device that reduces particulate emissions by filtering, installed in the diesel exhaust system. Its carbon particle filtration efficiency reaches over 90%. Partially soluble organic compounds (SOF), especially those with high boiling points, may be captured.
At present, there are three types of filter materials studied and used in China: ceramics, metals, and composite materials. The common types are ceramic based (cordierite or silicon carbide) and metal based (stainless steel wire mesh) diesel particulate filters.
The working principle of a particle filter is to take turns blocking both ends of the porous honeycomb ceramic and filtering PM through the ceramic wall.
Filter regeneration: By increasing the gas temperature in the filter, particulate matter is burned to filter out the accumulated particles in the filter, ensuring its functionality. The characteristics of particulate matter in diesel exhaust gas are related to oxygen concentration. It will burn at a temperature of 550-650 ° C.

The working principle of carbon based diesel particulate filter for carbon particle purification target is to reduce 96.5% of carbon particle emissions. Firstly, the carbon particles in the diesel exhaust are retained, and then the carbon particles are removed through electric heating, fuel burners, etc., ultimately achieving the carbon particle emission standard.
The diesel particulate filter adopts a honeycomb structure. It has independent openings and channels are blocked at both ends. Waste gas enters from one opening end, passes through the porous honeycomb wall, and finally exits from adjacent channels. Carbon particles remain on the channel wall because they are too large to pass through the wall holes and will not be emitted into the air.
